I know not your pain
I know not your sorrow,
Nor do I pretend to know.
I know not what life you go through,
Nor the path laid before you.
I know not your future,
Nor the Creator's plan.
Yet this I know—
That sorrow and pain are part of life,
Yet not the end of it;
That life is uncertain,
Yet known by the Creator.
I know not how to comfort you,
Nor the words to make you whole.
Yet this I know—
That one day, if not here,
All shall be made perfect.
